Frank Stubley Limited developed from a window cleaning business started after the war by Frank and his brothers in Bramley. The limited company was formed in 1960 and was run from the main office in Albion Street, Leeds. The objective was to provide a regular, reliable service at a reasonable price.
Our approach was proved to be very successful and the company was soon providing window cleaning to factories, mills, foundries, schools, shops and offices throughout the city and beyond. We expanded by diversifying into painting, decorating, and external stone, brick and cladding cleaning. We have carried out many prestigious contracts, including external cleaning of Leeds Civic Hall, The Queens Hotel (twice) and the Brotherton Wing at Leeds General Infirmary. On the painting side, we have carried out repairs and repainting of numerous housing estates and multi-storey blocks around the city over many years.
A Family Run Business
The present directors, Philip Stubley and Michael Walls, have each worked in the company over 30 years. The Company has benefited from a long serving and reliable workforce, with a wealth of experience in producing good quality work at an economic cost. Due to the highly competitive nature of our work, we tend to confine our scope of travel to within a 30 mile radius of Leeds City Centre; however, we will undertake work further afield for established customers.

All our employees are directly employed and apprentice trained. We will employ part time specialist sub contractors to carry out skilled works such as abseiling, pointing, and restoration work.
